PERSONAL CARE
Needing to have help with personal care is something that may be hard to face up to. It can be a very private matter and hard to accept that you may now be needing help with this. Devoted Homecare will always make sure our clients are treated with the utmost dignity and respect during their care calls, using person-centred care to involve them in their personal care choices which makes them feel in control over their care. We can assist in washing (a strip wash, bed bath, bathing, and showering), assistance with dressing, shaving, toileting and continence needs, including use of a bed pan or a commode. We tailor make all of our care plans to ensure our client's feel at the core of their care and are receiving the care they deserve.
MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION
At Devoted Homecare LTD, we offer professional, reliable medication support services to all of our clients. Whether its prompting, assisting or fully administering all due medication, all of our staff are fully trained to a high standard in medication. All medication given or refused will be recorded on a MAR chart on our software we use at Devoted Homecare. Family members can log in to the family portal and get the peace of mind needed that all due medication is being given.
COMPANIONSHIP
Devoted Homecare are able to provide sits to our clients which enables them to have the companionship needed at times when they feel lonely, especially for yourself or your loved one who are house bound. On our 'Companionship Calls', our fully trained carers are able to also carry out shopping tasks, domestic tasks and also assist you or your loved one to and from appointments if they need that extra support. All of our services go hand in hand with the companionship and support we provide all of our clients. We can also provide companionship carers to take your loved on out a well needed trip to their favourite place.
MEAL PREPARATION
Our care team at Devoted Homecare are also here to make sure your loved ones are eating substantial, hearty meals throughout the day, and also drinking enough fluids. All of our carers are fully trained in food safety and hygiene and can cook meals from fresh or heat pre-prepared meals for our clients.
MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING
We are not only here to provide care to our clients, we are also here to make sure your and your loved one's mental state of mind and wellbeing is being maintained. All of our carers are fully trained in dealing with mental health and wellbeing needs, to keep your loved one positive at certain hard times in their lives. We can provide a introduction service, where your loved one can meet their carer before going ahead with the care package. We feel this will provide peace of mind to your loved one as it can be a anxious transition for anyone to start receiving care from a care company.
