SOPHIE SHEPHERD

(Diploma 2,3 & 5) – Sophie is the owner and founder of Devoted Homecare and is also the registered manager. Sophie works full time in the office. Sophie oversees the general management of the company and deals with invoicing and payroll and is supported by the other office members. Sophie has been in various sectors of care including nursing and residential homes and has even done care in Australia. Sophie started Devoted Homecare in February 2021 with a passion for promoting personal centred care and wanting to allow people to be able to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Sophie has always wanted to ensure that the highest level of care is always given, by ensuring effective training is given to staff, as well as sharing her knowledge and experience to improve the social care setting. In Sophie’s spare time she likes to spend time socialising with her friends and family and looking after her 2 sausage dogs.

 

Sophie has completed extra training in End of Life Care, Virtual Dementia, Defibrillator, Suicide Prevention, Mental Health, Risk Assessment level 2, Conflict Resolution, Oliver McGowan, Stoma, Peg Feed, EpiPen, is a Dementia Friend, has Medication level 2, Dementia Interpreter level 2 and is a Qualified First Aider.
